Located in the heart of downtown Atlanta, Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) features 1.5 million square feet of prime exhibit space and is the world’s largest LEED Gold certified convention center. Consisting of three interconnected buildings, the GWCC offers a variety of flexible and dynamic spaces and hosts hundreds of world-class events each year. 

The GWCC has 12 exhibit halls and over a million square feet of exhibit space. With two ballrooms and three fixed-seat auditoriums, our flexible space is built to accommodate your event needs. The GWCC’s 98 meeting rooms have easy access to other areas of the campus making it an ideal location to host ISPOR 2024.

Note: ISPOR 2024 will be located in GWCC- Building A.

Getting There:  

The Georgia World Congress Center, also known as GWCC approximately 10 miles from Hartsfield – Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Atlanta’s geographical location makes it an ideal and easy gateway for attendees traveling either nationally or internationally. The GWCC is also surrounded by several hotels, making the commute to/from the event each day quick and convenient. Whether it’s by car, train, or bus, getting to and from the GWCC couldn’t be easier!

Hartsfield- Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) is approximately 15 -20 minutes from the Georgia World congress Center and downtown Atlanta.           

Transportation options from Hartsfield – Jackson Atlanta International Airport to surrounding Hotels and the Downtown area:

Taxi/Rideshare:  

  • Taxi:  
    • A taxi from the airport to the venue, areas hotels and downtown Atlanta takes approx. 15-20 minutes
  • Rideshare:  
    • Choosing to ride with Uber or Lyft? The airport has created designated areas for all pick-up and drop offs. For more information, click here.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Beginning Monday, April 8th, MARTA’s Airport Station will be closed for a total of 6 weeks, with a scheduled reopening on Monday, May 20th. The station will be closed for construction, as MARTA works to improve and modernize its stations to best serve the travelers and employees of the world’s busiest airport.

As an alternative to the train service to the airport, a bus shuttle service will be provided between College Park rail station and the North Terminal Lower Level at the airport, doors LN1 and LN2. The shuttle will run 22 hours a day, 4 a.m. to 2 a.m., and is conveniently located in the bus loop at College Park Station. Please allow an extra 30 minutes when taking MARTA to the airport.
