Theme-Related Content Encouraged
ISPOR is interested in content related to the conference theme “HEOR: Evolving for Tomorrow’s Challenges”. The following featured areas are encouraged:

  • Ability and responsibility of HEOR to inform health systems level decisions or challenges in addition to assessing value at the product level
  • Innovative HEOR methods that extend beyond the status quo in methodology utilization (i.e. multimodal outcomes research)
  • Relevance of HEOR through expanded and new collaborations (e.g. educating end users – decision makers/assessors – of next generation HEOR analysis/methods)

Case studies and other examples of these featured areas of research are welcomed.

COVID-19 Related Content
The continuation of the COVID-19 pandemic provides many opportunities for HEOR researchers to analyze its effects on individuals, health care, and society. ISPOR welcomes abstracts relating to treatments, vaccines, and other interventions, as well as other health care issues resulting from the pandemic – for example the impact of deferred healthcare for non-COVID issues. Areas of interest include but are not limited to: Economic Evaluation - and its use in healthcare decisions; Modeling, both disease and economic; and COVID specific Clinical Outcomes Assessment including Patient Centered Research; impact on data ‘quality’ due to skewed patient interaction with the healthcare system.
