Dubai was a natural destination for ISPOR’s regional event in the Middle East. Dubai’s healthcare sector has witnessed exceptional growth over the past few years. Dubai Health Authority continues the rollout out its current 12-year master plan that includes the addition of 40 primary healthcare centers and 3 new hospitals. As the Middle East’s hub for medical tourism, with world-class infrastructure and buoyant public and private healthcare industries, the city is perfectly suited to service the wider regional healthcare market that is expected to be worth $71.3 billion by 2020 when the city hosts the World Expo.
ISPOR events provide a forum for the discussion and dissemination of information surrounding the science of health economics and outcomes research (HEOR). The events bring together experts and stakeholders in the HEOR field to share innovative research methods and health policy developments, to learn from each other, explore business opportunities and network.
