ISPOR’s Scientific Achievement and Leadership Awards

The society’s scientific achievement and leadership awards program is designed to foster and recognize research excellence, leadership, and outstanding technical achievement in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR).  ISPOR's Scientific Achievement and Leadership Awards Program includes the following distinguished awards:

ISPOR’s Service, Chapter, and Student Awards

ISPOR also recognizes the contributions of members who have led an important ISPOR activity. Recipients are recognized during an Awards Dinner at the May conference for those who have chaired publications editorial boards, Task Forces, Special Interest Groups, and various ISPOR committees, as well as the ISPOR student leadership. In addition, ISPOR recognizes various regional chapter leadership at its various regional meetings.

Research Presentation Podium and Poster Awards

The awards are given for the best research presentations in three categories, General, Student and New Investigator. Consideration for an award is given to all research podium presentations and to the Top 10% of the research poster presentations. The Top 10% research posters are based on their abstract review score.

The award finalists’ posters are adorned with a rosette and will be judged during the conference and the award recipients will be notified by email. The winners receive special recognition on the Best Research Poster Presentation Award webpage, also via Value & Outcomes Spotlight, eBulletin, and an email to conference attendees.

Best Research Poster Presentation Awards

Conference Travel Grant Awards

ISPOR's Conference Travel Grants were established to support attendance at the Society's conferences for eligible members to attend the Society's conferences.
