ISPOR Bosnia-Herzegovina Chapter is continuously working on bringing the scientific understanding of pharmacoeconomics tools and its implementation into practice.
Since continuous education is a precondition for further developments of pharmacoeconomics and outcomes research, as well as HTA, as a broader concept, the Chapter has organized the two day interactive workshop on basic principles of Budget Impact Analysis (BIA).
The workshop took place on 20-21 October 2017 in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina. Many pharma industry representatives, pharmacists, academia and post graduate students attended the event.
This workshop has been mostly requested by payers and decision makers during new medicines reimbursement process.
The interactive workshop provided basic theory concepts and guidelines related to budget impact analysis in light of Bosnia and Herzegovina legislation and practices, as well as practical part of developing BIA and reimbursement file preparation.
ISPOR Bosnia –Herzegovina Chapter is planning to actively continue such similar activities in future in order to improve the understanding and implementation of pharmacoeconomics into everyday practice.
The Chapter has now completed translations of two ISPOR books: ISPOR Book of Terms and The Therapeutic and Diagnostic Devise Outcomes Research (the latest).
