The ISPOR 23rd Annual International Meeting will be held May 19-23, 2018. The meeting presentations and the Exhibit- Poster Hall will all be held in the Baltimore Convention Center.

The Baltimore Convention Center is the premier location for conventions, tradeshows and expositions in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Nestled in the heart of downtown, the Center's location is a tourist's dream and a meeting planner's delight. From the world renowned Inner Harbor to historic Little Italy, our site offers attendees a grand variety of attractions and meeting planners an affordable prime destination. The Center is conveniently located close to public transportation for easy access by MARC Train or Baltimore's Lightrail to Washington, D.C. or the Baltimore International Airport (BWI). Baltimore's Penn Station is a short 7 minute drive while BWI Airport is only 20 minutes by car.

  • ISPOR Registration will be located in the lobby of the Charles Street Entrance of the Convention Center.
  • The Plenary Session will be in Hall A, just off the Charles Street Lobby, level 100.
  • Presentations will be held in the convention center level 100, 300 and 400.
  • The Exhibit – Poster Hall will be in Hall B,C,D, just off the Charles Street Lobby, level 100.

Getting Here

Situated in the heart of the Mid-Atlantic States, Baltimore is easily accessible by plane, train or highway. Its location – within easy reach by more than 50 million people and its proximity to New York, Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia – makes it a prime meeting destination.

By Air
Three major airports serve Baltimore: Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport in Maryland, as well as Washington Dulles International Airport and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. Just 15 minutes from downtown, BWI Thurgood Marshall offers more than 650 flights per day to more than 70 domestic and international destinations.

By Rail
Baltimore’s Penn Station is one of Amtrak’s busiest stations, serving more than 900,000 guests each year as a major stop on the Northeast Corridor with Acela and Northeast Regional Service from Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. Special Amtrak group fares are available through Visit Baltimore’s Convention Services Department. The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) operates MARC train services from Washington, D.C. and destinations in Maryland, as well as the Metro Subway and Light Rail service.

By Road
Baltimore is located at the crossroads of the Mid-Atlantic States and is easily accessible via I-95, I-83 and I-70. There are more than 40,000 parking spaces in the downtown area.

Getting Around

Baltimore is a walkable city, with the Convention Center, major hotels, restaurants, shops and attractions located within blocks of the Inner Harbor. The Downtown Partnership of Baltimore and the Waterfront Partnership maintain hospitality and safety teams throughout the core business district and around the waterfront promenade.

Charm City Circulator

A fast, free, hybrid bus service, the Charm City Circulator features four routes that intersect in downtown Baltimore and connect to other transit.

  1. The Purple Route runs north-south, from Federal Hill to Penn Station.
  2. The Orange Route runs east-west, from the Bromo Tower Arts and Entertainment District to Harbor East.
  3. The Green Route travels from Harbor East/Fell’s Point to Johns Hopkins Medical Center.
  4. The Banner Route connects the Inner Harbor with Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine.

The Convention Center is conveniently located on the Orange Route, stop # 220 in the front of the building at W. Pratt St. & S. Sharp St.
