Glasgow Airport

Glasgow Airport (GLA) serves most major international airlines and is located 8 miles or 13 km West of the city.

Glasgow Prestwick Airport

Glasgow Prestwick Airport (PIK) is located 32 miles or 51 km South West of the city.

Getting to the city center from Glasgow Prestwick Airport:
Prestwick has its own train station with 3 trains per hour on weekdays which service Glasgow Central Station. There is also an early morning and late evening express bus service which takes an hour. Tickets can be booked here: https://www.doddsoftroon.com/x99-airport-service.

Edinburgh Airport

Edinburgh Airport (EDI) is 39 miles or 63 km from Glasgow and serves most major international airlines.

Getting to the city center from Edinburgh Airport:
Scottish Citylink provides direct bus services from Edinburgh Airport to Glasgow’s Buchanan Bus Station every 30 minutes.

The rail link between Glasgow and Edinburgh is convenient with direct services departing from Glasgow Queen and terminating in Edinburgh Waverley.

Bus
Over the past 10 years First Bus Glasgow has invested over £100 million on new buses and technology for the Greater Glasgow Network. They now operate over 100 routes across the city.

The City Sightseeing Glasgow tour bus operates around the city and customers are able to hop-on and hop-off wherever they please. Discount vouchers will be contained as part of the delegate literature.

Subway
This subway is an easy way to get around the City Center and West End of Glasgow, a journey time of 8 -10 minutes. The complete circuit of 15 stations takes only 24 minutes, tickets start from £1.40.

Train
Glasgow Central Station links Glasgow by rail to the South. Glasgow Queen Street Station operates routes mainly to Edinburgh & the North. The Exhibition Centre train station is accessed via a covered walkway from the Scottish Event Campus for a 5 minute journey to the city center.
