A Special Interest Group (SIG) consists of 2 or more Working Groups (WGs). The goal of each Working Group is to produce a tangible product(s), such as a Good Research Practices paper published in Value in Health or in ISPOR’s Good Research Practices series of books. Other examples include a compilation of information for the ISPOR website, such as the ISPOR Digest of International Databases and the ISPOR Managed Care Outcomes Research Digest or a state of the science article in ISPOR CONNECTIONS or other tangible outcomes to further the mission of the Society.
The Leadership Group is the small group of WG members who develop the initiatives and work on the WG’s tasks to reach its goals. The Reviewer Group is the larger group of WG members who respond to / comment on the above-mentioned work products, such as papers, produced by the Leadership Group. |
