1. to inform the development and evaluation of interventions/treatments for the management of long-term conditions
2. in health care policy decision-making with regard to long-term conditions.

Current Project

The ISPOR BOOK: Reliability and Validity of Data Sources for Disease and Health Management

Our book will cover data sources commonly used in disease & health management program evaluation and how the selection of data sources will impact reliability and validity.  It will provide: a.) a review of the current state of the science and b.) a comprehensive review and set of recommendations, GRPs, on how to evaluate disease/health management programs.

This is an applied book, for health and disease management practitioners who need a good overview of the issues when they are developing and evaluating their own programs. It will be similar in scope and detail as "Cost-effectiveness in Health and Medicine” edited by Marthe Gold, J. Siegel, L. Russell and M. Weinstein.

Target Audience: collaborating groups, researchers, and practitioners.
