ISPOR HEALTH TECHNOLOGY ASSESSMENT IN EVIDENCE-BASED DECISIONS SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP (HTA-EBD)
Goal:
Third-party payers in all countries are seeking better value for money spent on treatments, drugs and devices, and are therefore major users or consumers of outcomes and health economics studies. It is increasingly important that health economics and outcomes studies consider third-party payer evidence requirements and that payers be educated on design and evidence and how information can be properly used.

It is the goal of this ISPOR Special Interest Group to contribute to international health technology assessment and reimbursement research standards and methods, and create a forum for communication between researchers, payers and the scientific and academic communities at large.
