ISPOR CONNECTIONS EDITORIAL ADVISORY BOARD
The ISPOR CONNECTIONS Editorial Board consists of the ISPOR CONNECTIONS Editor-in-Chief and Advisory Board members. The Chair of the Editorial Advisory Board is the Editor-in-Chief.
ISPOR CONNECTIONS ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER
Position Description
ISPOR CONNECTIONS Editorial Advisory Board members are ISPOR members selected by the Editor-in-Chief who assist the Editor-in-Chief in the direction and growth of this ISPOR news & technical journal.
Responsibilities
The ISPOR CONNECTIONS Editorial Board members assist the Editor-in-Chief with the following activities:
- Development of technical content of the news journal each year
- Identify key contributed research, contributed workshops, or issues panel topics from ISPOR meetings/congresses suitable for publication in ISPOR CONNECTIONS and invites presenters to submit an article
- Identify key topics to include in the news journal and invites key authors on these topics to submit an article
- Review, edit, and approval of the technical content on the news journal
- Write feature articles or support an existing or new section of the journal
Term
An ISPOR CONNECTIONS Editorial Advisory Board member serves a term of four years. An ISPOR CONNECTIONS Editorial Advisory Board member can serve two 4-year terms upon approval of the Editor-in-Chief.
Requirements
The following are the criteria to be considered to the ISPOR ISPOR CONNECTIONS Editorial Advisory Board:
- Must be an ISPOR member
- Knowledge of the Society and has personal commitment to its goals and objectives
- Demonstrated writing, editing, and time-management skills
- Knowledge of pharmacoeconomics and outcomes research methodology issues and issues related to the use of this research in health care decisions.
