The ISPOR Poland Chapter was created to help the medical community in evaluating the real value of medicines. The organizers of the ISPOR Poland Chapter feel the strong need for pharmacoeconomic knowledge for fair distribution of funds for pharmaceutical care. We feel that the first step should be directed towards the development of a new approach based on the novel concept of "added health value" and the construction of a perfect list of cost-effective pharmaceuticals.
