The first General Meeting was held in May 2006 to discuss “Current Reimbursement Issues in Turkey and Prioritization”. The meeting was held with participants from Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labor and Turkish Treasury who are also members of ISPOR SCP and Reimbursement Commission. |

Four public meetings were held by Turkish SCP on ‘Rational drug use and pharmacoeconomy’ in four different cities with more than 200 participants each (Mersin, Manisa, Diyarbakir, Samsun) to improve public awareness of public and drug use. The one-day meetings were held in the first half of the year |

ISPOR Turkish SCP organized two visits to the ISPOR European Congress and International Meeting in Copenhagen and Philadelphia. Both visits were accompanied by “Evening Classes” to allow for Turkish SCP participants to get the maximum impact out of their visit. Evening Classes were organized by Turkish SCP and Prof. Dr. Cankat Tulunay. More than 20 people participated in both of the programs and included Health Commission Members of Parliament, Reimbursement Commission and pharmaceutical companies. |
