ISPOR TASK FORCE: BUDGET IMPACT ANALYSIS
The Budget
Impact Analysis Task Force was created in May 2005 to establish good research
practice methods for conducting and reviewing budget impact analyses. The
report of this Task Force will be published in ISPOR Value in Health
and at the ISPOR website in 2006.
The Task
Force is presenting a Forum summary of their report and are welcoming all
feedback, comments, and constructive debate at the upcoming ISPOR 8th
Annual European Congress in Florence, Italy, November 2005. The workshop
will take place Monday, November 5 at 5:00 PM and will feature the following

MEDICARE PROVIDES TOOLS TO HELP LOCAL PARTNERS PREPARE BENEFICIARIES FOR
MEDICARE PRESCRIPTION DRUG COVERAGE–PRESCRIPTION DRUG PLAN FINDER NEWEST TOOL
October 17, 2005 –
Medicare partners will have
additional resources available to help them inform and educate people about the
new prescription drug coverage, including a new Prescription Drug Plan Finder,
well before enrollment begins on November 15. Soon, beneficiaries and their
family members will be able to use these tools to make better decisions about
their Medicare drug coverage.
