research papers. A short note should include original results. Examples of
short notes include papers estimating the cost of illness in a single country
or site of care using standard methods; extensions of previously published
studies that include new results, and reliability and validity studies for

regrouping of this SIG group is now taking place. Members of the Retrospective
Database SIG group will be receiving an email with specific information on each
group. All members will be asked to respond indicating if they are interested
in being an active member of the SIG and which working group they are
interested in and the level – leadership or review group.

The ISPOR PRO
SIG ePRO WG is ready to start its activities. The goal of the ePRO WG is to
identify relevant issues and develop ePRO good research practices.

you can join either the Leadership Group (a small group of SIG members
who develop the SIG initiatives and goals) Or Reviewer Group (larger
group of SIG members who respond to / comment on 'work products' produced by
the Leadership Working Group)

MANAGEMENT SIG
Following
the ISPOR 11th Annual International Meeting, the Risk Management SIG put out a
detailed plan of action for their activities for the upcoming year. They will
continue to focus on publishing their White Papers on Pharmaceutical Perspectives
on Risk and plan to launch a nation-wide public survey on attitudes regarding
risk.
