What is The ISPOR Distance Learning Program?

The ISPOR Distance Learning Program is designed to provide knowledge and skills on pharmacoeconomic and outcomes research topics (clinical, economic, humanistic, quality-of-life) via the Internet.

Structure of the IDLP program

The ISPOR Distance Learning Program provides convenient access to over 25 individual training modules. Each module is self-contained. Modules can be used individually or used in combination, making the learning program highly customized. The modules are prerecorded, rather than live, and are available 24 hours a day. The modules are presented in a relatively non-technical format and include the following:

  • an integrated slide-audio presentation
  • downloadable slide presentation
  • comprehensive downloadable notes
  • downloadable articles (where available
  • quiz

The modules are organized by topic. The skill level of each module (introductory, intermediate, or advanced) is indicated for each module as follows:

·  I = introductory
·  M = intermediate
·   A = advanced

ISPOR currently offers Modules on the following topics:

ISPOR serves the public interest by promoting the science of pharmacoeconomics and healthcare outcomes assessment by providing services to advance pharmacoeconomic and outcomes research and educational activities.  There is an increasing demand on health care decision-makers to understand and use pharmacoeconomics in the decision making process. ISPOR is bridging the gap between pharmacoeconomic information and health care decisions worldwide through the convenience of the Internet.

ISPOR Distance Learning Program Module Fees:

  • Each module is $40* (10% discount for ISPOR members)
  • Quantity discounts are also available based on the number of modules purchased.
    <Note: Modules must be purchased at one time to receive the discount.>

If you register for more than 4 modules, you will receive the quantity discount as indicated below:

5-9 courses = 5% discount
10-14 courses = 10% discount
15-19 courses = 15% discount
20-24 courses = 20% discount
25+ courses = 25% discount

*Registration entitles the participant to one year of access to the module from the date of purchase.
