During the ISPOR Sixth Annual International Meeting, May 20 - 23, 2001 Hyatt Regency Crystal City, Arlington, Virginia, the scientific merit exhibited in contributed poster and podium presentations was recognized with awards given by authors' groups: general, students and new investigators. This year, the ISPOR Awards Committee evaluated approximately 48 podium presentations and 311 poster presentations.
